Hello everyone!
Last week Patreon applied an update to the numbers shown in everyone's Patreon. The old numbers showed the total sum of money that was on the donation. Patreon just fixed a bit of the confusion people were having about the real amount of money the person behind a patreon actually makes.
So they made changes to the number display on the top left to reflect:
- The real amount of money the patreon creator is actually making.
- Takes into count Patreon's own fees from the total and removes it from the number being shown.
- Removes the numbers added from people that are still subscribing but whose billing information is not updated and get their card declined.
What does this mean? Nothing really, the Patreon stays the same and if you donate you are still doing the same thing. The only issue is that it clears up problems and assumptions for the real quantity of the donation.
This also sadly means that it affects milestones and we have lost another one for now. I apologize for it.
Best of luck everyone!
