Flying car? Who is in charge of the sir space. You know, traffic control? Or are we just supposed to allow AI keep these things from crashing into each other and land on a school playground full of kids?

I agree with the short sightedness of not pursuing hyper loop or other high speed rail like in Asia and Europe. However, the race to the moon did get the USA something. It was an arms race for the technology for ballistic missiles disguised as a exploration of space imo.

The flying car is the hybrid EV of plane technology. It will neither fly nor drive efficiently. How much do those wings weigh? Am I supposed to drive them, and all the extra battery weight required for flight, around with me all the time?
