The biggest problem is that Fox News is not News, its propaganda. There should be a standard that forces "News" to be displayed as "Opinion" or worse "Commentary". This would be a good job for the FCC since there are standards that protect News broadcasts if they are upholding the Article 1 freedom of the press but can be sued for slander if they can't prove their statements. The problem is that a lot of money is involved in doing it and they have a lot of money to stop it.

Fox "news" lives on exaggeration and mistruths, which excites their viewers and gets them to keep watching this stuff. The
bigger the viewership the more Fox can charge per second of commercial time. Number of viewers drives all TV profits . . . . but Fox takes it to a whole new level with it's mistruths.
