The German Giga Factory looks small
A large amount of land was cleared and the factory may be advanced but in terms of what is being actually developed it looks very small compared to Austin and Shanghai. I remember when Grohmann Engineering was making the transition there was a bunch of complaining that BMW, Mercedes ICE projects were being cancelled. Why? And remember recently the uproar from IG Metal when a Mercedes plant manager came over to Tesla Berlin. And now there was an apparent conflict where the 2nd plant manager was pushed out over apparently bifurcating that production line- was that just straight sabotage?- these things have plans? And the first one was pushed out over not paying water bills? I remember Trump kept talking about tariffs for German Luxury cars. I didn't make sense but it starting to make more sense- you see of course Ford and GM were pushed out of the EU because on every level they are utter crap- they are customer/citizen exploitation operations. But Tesla is another matter. I know Musk tends not to compromise- look at the bs Buffet pulled in Nevada with NRG and how Musk just picked up shop and walked- enough frustration and I could see the same thing here- it is not necessary for the technology to exist or be produced in German it is just necessary that the public gets to know the black swan- the result will be the same. In the back of my mind I keep wondering if the Plaid Plus was delayed or cancelled as an extortionate bargaining chip over Giga Berlin you see the battery in the EQS like in the Taycan has both charge and life time issues. Battery in the EQS is good for 155k miles which won't cut it- in that it will have 50% range at that point. Claims on Taycan range I find bs (the Bjorn Nyland tests for instance had way too many anomalies) they are putting a lot more heavy battery in and putting it on skinny tires and playing hyper milling tricks in reviews, while they review performance on the thick timers and small battery units- false advertising stuff. You can see more of this with Porsche giving the option to charge at 150 or 190kwh to save battery life when even its fastest was always slower in practice than Tesla. Suspect VW and Mercedes are using the same supplier kind of like how Lordstown (another apparent GM shell game) is using LG and the same LG batteries in 2019 Bolts and now newer Lordstown prototypes are catching fire just like the Bolts. And when that happens we get a lot of redirection fud to distract from ICE maker issues to guard their share price and protect access to debt markets. Like how when MachEs don't sell we have Ford say its outselling their ICE Mustangs which are selling even worse than MachEs and then we hear FUD (quite probably Ford sponsored) claiming Tesla isn't selling in China. With the crash in Texas you could see that pile of BS was probably meant to distract from GM's fires and needed recall. I think if someone wanted to take the time it would be possible to statistically link most of the fud on things like fires (it was Ford and BMW facing injunctions across the globe for fires on their parked turned off ICE vehicles) to the timing on issues with Ford, GM and BMW and essentially prove statistically beyond a reasonable doubt their culpability. But then it would be important to make them publically own the practice and all the issues they were trying to distract from. But maybe Trump was right, maybe it needs to become a lot harder for BMW, Mercedes and VW to build or sell in the US? It was the US SEC that caught crap company BMW inflating its US sales and therefore global sales and by implication financial documents across a recent 5 year span and just read it was a US NGO that exposed Diesel Gate. If there are some forensic accountants out there and they have the time to spare it is time to really look at the books of Ford, GM and BMW and make public what you see to spare the global public more of their foot dragging BS. We've heard Forbes say GM and Ford have long been structurally bankrupt (I think they are always getting stealth bailouts too) but the public needs to know more. It is an absolute travesty that hybrid bs is being included in potential EV credits bills to bailout Toyota-BMW-Ford-GM. Pushing the EV stuff might go in the direction of meeting Obama's carbon goals but remember BMW was recently selling fleet vehicles to stupid companies like SAP (SAP is the German Microsoft which almost married Microsoft then said while buying BMW's utter crap that it would buy Tesla like its employees want if Tesla had more lame dealers- which should clue SAP employees about how dumb their employers is and how they need to leave.)- SAP was buying BMWs which were expensive maintenance prone hybrids that were shone in BMW's case to suddenly be dirtier than straight gas or even diesels- Diesel Gate 2 for BMW. And again how is it that Ford is not paying for credits or if it is do we find its scheme credible?- thought it was something predictably and incredibly stupid involving the typical biofuels scam- could be wrong about that but not at all surprised if I am not. Either I think Ford is expected to have to pay a billion or 2 or something like that in November for credits- if it is an issue the public should know about it.

We need a study on test scores of kids riding electric school buses so there will be outrage that “why are they are getting the benefit and we are not”. You could also add in the average household income of the students in electric school busses. I bet it is above the national average.
