No they get a cut of your subscription based on the timeshare of watch time you give that show. I have premium, too. It's awesome.

Tesla sells every car it makes as fast as they can make them - Advertising may become a wise idea one day in the future when they are able to produce more cars than people are waiting in line to buy; but at this time, it would serve no financial benefit and would actually use corporate funds which could be better used on building more facilities or further R&D.

I wonder if Tesla should advertise to increase S and X sales. They have more capacity there and these are more profitable. There are still so many people not familiar with electric cars or what Tesla is about. I have to believe they could boost sales.
