I think the jobs numbers were false to begin with and of course we’re not just talking about full time jobs but part time and hourly workers as well. When they, in the past, came out with the jobs numbers and said “we’ve created 250.000 new jobs” they were including part time and hourly workers who were still not working full time but it looks better statistically if it looks like all the jobs created are full time cause that’s where your mind goes first I guess, as a citizen.

I am a bit confused on what makes the bit about the turtles in Brazil “news”. There is a lot of efforts around the country to protect turtle eggs and hatchlings.
Poachers would not be directly operating in touristic beaches or would care about lockdown measures, therefore the presence of officials.
Protecting eggs from wildlife can in some areas be necessary, at least until the oceans are a safe place for turtles again.
