For those interested, there is an organization called Represent Us that is currently fighting to end corruption in the US, and they have had a lot of significant victories in the past year. Basically, since Washington fat cats will never vote anti-corruption legislation into law themselves, Represent Us volunteers are working at the state and city levels to get anti-corruption laws passed via the ballot initiative. Over time, if states elected officials must follow their state's anti-corruption laws, eventually all the Washington cronies will be replaced one-by-one. <a href="https://represent.us" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://represent.us</a> Been following them for years, and their work is inspiring.
