This energy transmormation might be good in 20-30 years when we have massive amount of excess energy and we have transtioned all industrial/heating process and of course electricity into full renewable. And we might need it by then if we look how slow we are transitionning and still investing in the wrong energy. In the meantime, except for niche application, hydrogen or reformation of co2 is just not a good use of energy. This would be good for airplane and a few long distance other transporation.
