The writing and coding for chapter 1 is pretty much 100% complete!
I still need to add sounds, music, and backgrounds, but we're getting closer and closer to a tangible thing! (I also want to create a custom GUI, but I consider that low priority and not something required for releasing the first tease)
Additionally, I've finally recovered my financial situation enough to resume artwork being made, and should hopefully have the first CG to accompany this first chapter relatively soon :>
Here's a little snippet from the chapter. My attempts at creating 3d backgrounds were not producing the kind of results I was hoping for, so I learned how to locally install an AI art producer and have been gradually working on refining creation of background art! It's surprisingly difficult, but it's making great strides and making results that I'm overall satisfied with, which will save me TONS of time.
Unfortunately, I have no solid timeline for when I can release the first chapter. My time available to work on the project is too random to promise anything concrete, but I'm hoping to let you guys get a little taste some time this month ;3
