Unfortunately, I don't have much to actually show here this time around. Most of what I've been doing has been less tangible. Writing, coding, etc. As well as some experimentation with making the whole process easier on myself.
That experimentation has been with AI background art! But while the results are interesting and promising, I don't think the technology is quite there yet...
Still, they look neat, don't they?
Since that probably won't work, I'm going to continue with making the backgrounds myself. It's not perfect, but it's by far the most cost-effective solution I've found so far... if extremely time consuming.
I'm sorry I don't have much to show right now, or any real news to share. The truth is that this month has been... well, kind of hellish for me. Healthwise, I'm having issues that prevent me from functioning normally 50% of the time, and I'm still trying to get scheduled with my doctor to get things sorted out :x
Financially, I've taken a huge hit, as well, with my usual work gigs ghosting me for nearly a month and a half. I'm finally at the point where things are going to start picking up again, but my bank account is nearly empty at the moment, so I haven't been able to commission any more art for the project just yet...
I promise to get that rolling again as soon as it's viable for me to do so! I don't want to complain a bunch or make a big deal out of personal problems, so let me just apologize again and try to do my best for October! If you would prefer to unsub from Patreon for a bit until I have something more substantial, I totally understand!
