Music Concert of Epic Proportions

Before moving to Europe and focusing more on my own performances, I was a producer, putting together big programs, festivals and events. Designing the style, vibe and experience of the event, putting together a collection of kick-ass artists, marketing campaigns, technical management, coordinating teams and always also managing some crazy weirdos and their problems. This is incredibly hard, stressful but also extremely rewarding work.
Last year I had the opportunity to do this again (a big part of the reason why I took a break here). I knew again it would be stressful and work me around the clock but after covid, hey, I really needed the regular paycheck for 6 months.
So, I worked with some really respected (and quite famous musicians) to put together a concert of epic proportions for the opening of the European Capital of Culture at the Rockhal, Luxemburg's biggest venue.
Frank Wiedemann and Matthew Herbert were the creative directors.
Matthew is a madman working with all music genres with a focus on experimentation (he actually just wrote to me last week to say hi, he's currently working on a concert revolving around playing a dead horse, how cool)
Frank is a legendary techno and dance DJ who also does collaborative projects and education, mostly with Ableton.
Together we created a new original piece of music with over 100 local musicians performing on stage.
