The Theremerkin: World's first ever crotch mounted theremin

Boy oh boy, this one is cool!
So this is a one off performance I did at what is arguably Berlin's hottest drag show.
The character is a tragic showgirl/drag performer going by the name of Candida. I made her myself in New York using mostly carved and painted foam. The face is an articulated mask (meaning that the jaw of the mask moves) that I made from a plastic mask coated in satin and nail varnish.
In this routine I play around with a post modern striptease, alternating between removing clothing from the puppet and myself. The grand finale is that I accompany the music by playing on the 'theremin'. Cool huh?
This musical intrument is still in development and probably warrants its own whole routine one day. Its basically a custom made theremin, crotch mounted within a cricket box. (Like the protection guys wear on their genitals to protect them when playing sports).
For now it unfortunately is a little fragile and must be plugged into a DI using an instrument cable. But the whole thing will be under development, and hopefully be seen on stage and beyond some day!
