Liu Xing Pao (流星砲, lit. 'Shooting star bomb', not to be confused with other weapons with similar names) is a poisoned barbed javelin with a large firecracker attached to its bamboo shaft. The firecracker is not intended to cause harm, but to disorient enemy troops and startle enemy horses with its bright flash and loud bang.
