I am not sure how well these are received, so I suppose with the book we will find out. But these stories are generally short so building a whole book of over 50,000 words will be difficult. I will need more stories like this one, about a real circus performer. I just had her fake her death so that she could live her true life

I really do enjoy these historical vignettes. I urge you to read this article that Angharad blogged about today. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/aug/09/1000-year-old-... As in Native American culture, ancient peoples may have had a more salutary view of those among them who bridged the seeming crevasse between genders.
