I usually queue posts but damn I'm so excited about this one I just finished 😤😤 I got stoned and started jumping from story to story (I have at least six percolating in my skull right now) and the idea to draw my sweet Sincerity flustered over her first encounter with her future husband Clarence landed in my head.
I'm very proud of this. I was struggling to make my usual purple work for the shadowy back of the stall until I discovered the deep navy was not only realistic but also the most visually striking. ALSO I feel like I finally cracked the code of coloring blonde hair, which I've always struggled with!! Now I want to make a YouTube tutorial on how to color blonde hair.
I'm also thrilled with how I drew the volume of the hair, dress, and ruffles oh my god. Over all I'm so happy, I want to frame this and put it in my bathroom when I have my own place!!!
Maybe I'll make more traditional art like this? I know I've posted a few sketch book arts but I'm not sure if they're popular. Should I try to capture a time lapse of something like this?
