Hey, this mostly seems to work for Asobo 748i (AAU2 update) but seems to be missing packs+recirc fan sounds, both in cockpit and window views. Would also be great if you could add fuelpump and hydraulic pump sounds :)

There seems to be an issue with the latest AAU2 update where you get bank angle warnings on turns where its not supposed to sound that warning. The default sounds dont have this behavior, is this something you could look into for the release of AAU2 when it should be going live by the end of the month?

Salty Mod ? This is a problem of the "layout.json" file update . 👉 When updating manually , make sure to copy/paste the full parameter from the "INFO" file including the symbols "{" and "}," or try the Aut-updating by using the "build.py"

I tried installing this but it makes the aircraft disappear in the selection menu. Not sure if this is common or whether there is something I'm doing wrong specifically to cause this

Thanks for updating, though most if not all of the overhead push buttons (fuel pumps, generators, etc.) still have no sound. Also, this is just my opinion, but I think you should leave the default sounds for all the switches. The dev version now has some excellent sounds for those.

Does not occur for me, and I fly the aircraft on a consistent basis. Do a clean install of the aircraft and make sure you properly install the sound mod.

Hi. Could you check on this as the latest Salty update seems to have made the sound mod incompatible. Engine sounds work but all buttons and knobs in the cockpit have no sound

Hi folks! Contributing member at Salty Simulations. I use the soundpack on the Salty 747 and absolutely love it. A few things I like and some changes//improvements I'd suggest: +1 on the engine sounds. It truly alleviates the dull and lifeless Asobo sounds. +1 on wind sound effects as you climb. +1 on rain sound effects. If only wipers worked properly so we can get some wiper sounds next! +1 on gear deployment/retraction. Love all the THUMPING and drag sound effects! -1 on the single sound effect when touching down. Regardless of whether it's a smooth or hard touchdown, the main gear touching sounds the same. Would be nice to get an idea of how bad (or good) our landings are. -1 on the Autothrottle Disconnect sound that randomly triggers when descending. I do have a clip of this if an investigation is pursued, but what should be the autothrottle disconnect sound plays when descending and managing speed as well. It seems to be in conjunction with flap deployment if this could help. It plays quite frequently and drives me crazy at times with no fix yet. Overall, a splendid project that I approve of. Keep up the awesome work! EDIT: I pinpointed the issue regarding the AutoThrottle sound triggering so much. It seems to occur when throttles idle, manually or with autothrottle when in a flaps config.

I have the latest Salty dev version from the FBW installer and with this sound pack installed my game crashes if I turn on the beacon lights, if I turn them on without the pack installed it doesn't crash.

i think "AIG" is still using the old FSX sounds so it might not be very accurate on FS2020

Update: looks like there is still need a work around now, since Asobo introduced flaps drag sounds and passenger ambiance on the latest sim update. I was wondering why I wasn't hearing them, then I remembered we disable the Asobo 747 sound folder to have your FTSIM sounds heard. https://prnt.sc/221rsys

Well done! Only thing: Engines sound a bit quiet from inside & wingview. Everything in sound settings is set to 100% as written in the readme. Maybe someone has an idea or there is a chance for a louder update some day :)

Why not make two versions then, one unrealistic where others can be pleased with all the sounds they wanna hear in the flight deck, and one faithful to real aircraft sounds where me and other others can be pleased also. Regardless, your sounds are still much more realistic than the default ones..

Hi. Just downloaded the new 1.2 version. There are now a couple of high pitched sounds that are way TOO loud in exterior view. The first one you can hear even when engines are off. The other sound is when you turn on the engines. I had to lower "aircraft miscellaneous" volume slider down to 10 since they were too loud. Maybe an emergency update for this can be made? Other than that all other sounds are great. Thanks!

Hi, I couldnt see what was going on in the youtube tutorial as it was heavily cropped. Also, I could not get the layout generator to work in the first place so in the end I just dragged your "sound.xml" to the salty sound folder and got it to work that way by replacing the stock sound.xml file in the salty mod folder. ALSO, for the next update, would it be possible to add a little more rumble for the cockpit view? The passenger showcase view sound is almost flawless compared to the real thing, but the engine drone and rumble that is pronounced in that view isnt very present in both external and cockpit view. None the less, thanks for fixing asobos horrible turbofan sounds!

They first added the minimams callout sound in this commit. https://github.com/saltysimulations/salty-747/commit/aa13fd97458a84c0e4bab858d76092f152f413a5 Since then, it has been changed by several bug fixes. The sound.xml is unrelated. It is panel.xml. The same may be true for the AP off warning, but I don't know...

Updated to 1.71, but still no minimums callout and AP off warning sound when used with Salty. Strangely enough, if I do it from an external view, I can hear them. Only in the cockpit, they are not audible. Have you checked that it can be heard inside the cockpit?

I was trying to use the latest sound v1.71 with the latest Salty dev and i dont have any sound inside cockpit. I used the MSFSlayoutgenerator. I think layout.json is not updating. Update: Ok it was my mistake, instead of Salty files i used default 748

i think the "siren.wav" is like the GPWS Caution sound , but it is used on the salty mod as an Overspeed warning

the sounds will not change any MSFS setting , and i can't help you here with this matter But !! try to reset your assigned controller buttons and make a new configuration also you can ask on "Discord" then you will find more help there
