Please make this for the Thranda for X-Plane 12

Tyler Little

Will you make this compatible with Thranda's PC12?

Dustin

I don't think it's in the marketplace, but the sounds on it are already really great! I mean, FTSim+ sounds are of course excellent, but the ones that ship with the plane are still good :-)

Alex Pontiere

Is it a "Marketplace" PC12 ? 👉 if Yes ! , then Nope it can't be done 😣 because the Required file ( sound.xml ) is Encrypted

K AKAIO

can we get this for the new MSFS PC12?

Harbor Brass

Disabling SAM didn't fix it, but the config worked! Thanks! :)

Anson Tam

Oh Man !! , that is indeed very annoying 😣 , 👉Try this configuration : https://www.patreon.com/file?h=34526529&i=9829626 ( Some Switches are disabled ) 🛑 Are you using other X- Plane Addons like "SAM" ? , try to disable them and check if the issue still exist ( before using the configuration above )

K AKAIO

No problem! https://youtu.be/MhhuXAk9pRg

Anson Tam

Sorry about the Delay ( again ) , 👉 Can you record the issue in a short video , it will help ( upload the video anywhere you want like youtube )

K AKAIO

I tried it out, seems to still be ticking. The ticking starts right when the planes loads up (battery OFF). Only happens in the cockpit view, not exterior view.

Anson Tam

the Gyro sounds maybe ? ( it starts when the battery is ON ) , you can disable it by editing the fmod file "Car_PC12.snd" - Open "Car_PC12.snd" with Notepad - Delete this Parameter below then save and reload the Aircraft BEGIN_SOUND_ATTACHMENT EVENT_NAME /Cockpit/Effects/Gyro VEH_XYZ 0 0.7 -2.35 EVENT_START_COND sim/cockpit2/electrical/Avionics_Power == 1 END_SOUND_ATTACHMENT

K AKAIO

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but when I load up the plane I get a crazy continuous ticking noise. I'm using the Carenado version.

Anson Tam

😱😱 great!!! I am even more excited! Thanks

Eduardo Gil

Good 🥳, also i got New and better engine sound samples , will be add soon

K AKAIO

It worked! Thanks!! Great sounds 👍🏻👍🏻

Eduardo Gil

1/ Rename the fmod folder or delete it 2/ Re-install the sounds If no sounds !! > Please mention what is the name of the aircraft ".acf" file ( is it "Car_PC12.acf" ? )

K AKAIO

Hey, I recently downloaded it and the one with the REP is not useable, when loading it says that it didn’t find the GUID for event:door open and the sim crashes

Eduardo Gil

Yes it works

K AKAIO

Hello guys, I have the PC12 with REP, this sounds also work with that? sorry i just got my patreon account so im getting into all this sounds, thanks

EFRAIN RODRIGUEZ

Thanks for the reply, I am 99% sure I am correct though it would be best to consult a real pilot/demo video I suppose :) EDIT: I made a video here (in the video I am using the latest soundpack version), you can see the prop rpm stays the same when reducing power, as in real life (constant prop speed is said to be 1700rpm on the real aircraft) https://gfycat.com/slushyquestionablehoiho

ri0t

You can't fix it on the ".snd" file only after re-editing the Fmod Parameters - Also I think i did not watch a full Demo Video to confirm who is right but No Problem ! , the fix should be ready soon

K AKAIO

I believe the PC-12 has a constant speed prop, prop RPM should not change when airborne, I believe that was carenado's intention. I am still using ver 1.3 for this reason but I would like to have the updated beta sounds. EDIT: I see above user "Kaan Kasim" complained about the prop noise being full when airbourne which likely prompted the update. His complaint is invalid, the sounds were correct before. The dataref change you made in v1.34 should be undone for the sounds to be correct.

ri0t

it was Mentioned above : v1.34 - Fixed Ov.... - "Changed "DataRef" used for the Engine sounds => you can Reduce Power in Flight " > The Previous Version was using a the correct Parameter but the issue is with carenado Throttle Panel , it do not Reduce Props RPM when "Airborne" only the N1% can change

K AKAIO

I just tried the update, the transition into reverse sounds nice, however now the prop sounds decrease as n1 decreases for some reason

ri0t

it is clearly noticeable on Twin Props , also a similar effect is added on the "Saab340" sound set . Like i said before , i'll will try to add this transition effect soon , thanks

K AKAIO

I'm no real pilot, but as I understand it the sound is heard when the blade pitch makes it so the props are not pulling through as much air, but not necessarily reverse, the sound is heard in many turbo props when trying to not taxi so fast. A deeper version is heard at 2:30 in this video https://youtu.be/YC-TO1twNOQ

ri0t

The sound starting from 0:04 ? it is like a reverser sound not a beta - usually the Beta Position is the quietest Propeller sound (the first Part of the video) >> i think my sound set do not include this effect so i might add it in a future update ( i have to look for a real demo first )

K AKAIO

Possible to make the beta range sound more like this?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agXib-CiOOg

ri0t

try this configuration https://www.patreon.com/file?h=34526529&i=6532388

K AKAIO

Sorry , i totally forgot 😣

K AKAIO

Also getting a beeping at cruise. Doesn't seem tied to any alert and I'm not overspeeding.

Tijani Gavian Marou

PS: I identified it coming from the User Interface sound level, If I turn it down, it is gone. Had a few flights today to Fl140 and 150 with nothing going of. Amazing soundpack by the way, thank you very much!!

Jonathan Arthur

Hey, thanks for the quick reply!Of course i can, will do tomorrow after work!

Jonathan Arthur

can you record it in a video ? , also try to identifie it by reducing the x-Plane volumes "one by one" to know it's from the engines or the cockpit side

K AKAIO

Ihave a weird beeping noise reoccuring a few minutes after at cruise (Fl210) and can't seem to find the issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

Jonathan Arthur

exterior view ? - open the fmod folder , and "Car_PC12.snd" with txt editor (notepad+) - delete the 6 lines of the "WindX" parameter (line 1365 to 1361) interior view ? - you can reduce it's volume via the x-plane "Environmental" slide

K AKAIO

Just bought the Carenado and not bad what I can hear. Only the wind noises are annoying using the fly-by and circle and other outside cams. Please tell us How to disable the Wind?

Peter

sure

K AKAIO

Hi Kairi, any chance to get a version for the STMA-PC12-47G? Would be nice. The flight model is here really nice: https://store.x-plane.org/Pilatus-PC-12-47G-XP11_p_357.html Thanks so far! :)

Peter

Reduce the Props Power using the condition lever

K AKAIO

Engine sound remains at full power after takeoff, always the same noise level even at idle thrust. Using pc12 with REP.

Kaan Kasım

Link Fixed , but not sure what happen before ( 0_o)

K AKAIO

Where is the link to v1.22?

Ken Brand

Fantastic, this together with the REP makes the PC-12 a real joy to fly. Great job.

Tadeus72

Disregard, looks like reducing the "user interface" volume slider to 20-25% balances out the sound to a tolerable level (personal preference, obviously). Wonderful sound pack, though. Thank you.

Seatback Pocket

Thank you for the update to address the Inert Sep, appreciated. If I could put in a request for future development consideration. I assume the ticking sound I hear is the gyro. Is it really that loud in the cockpit? While it definitely doesn't drown out the actual propeller noise, it was loud enough when I ended up turning down the overall sounds as not to just hear it ticking away. Any chance of a 25-30% reduction in that specific sound?

Seatback Pocket

Great , it kept me thinking for a bit

K AKAIO

Strange... Today it works...

B'atou

Are you using the newer version v1.3+ ? , ( that "event" is not made in the new Fmod )

K AKAIO

Hi, I just wanted to use the sound with the latest REP Patch, but got the following message: Couldn't find a GUID for this event name! event:/DoorOpen 0:00:55.827 E/SYS: | (soun_fmod_container.cpp:61) Any ideas how to fix it?

B'atou

Thank you sir Great Job

Switches sounds are not made in FMod !! only the Gps , but some alternative added to replace the default ( \\sounds\BC1,wav , BC2.wav ... ). - So if there any issues on the switches it's from Carenado not Fmod

K AKAIO

Great job! I really like sounds. I have a question about a sound when activating the INERT SEP, not for the sound clip clip clip ... will there be any woodpecker? hehehe great job congratulations

Neftalí Alexis Delgado Rodríguez

Thank you!

Ali Baba

already added one but it made a "funny" noise (it depend on the accuracy of the carenado's throttle panel ) , will try other samples ...

K AKAIO

Awesome! You are just on time! I bought the Carenado PC-12 over the weekend and was dissappointed with its default sounds which also had some strange crackling noises. Now these sounds here are amazing, thanks! Maybe one critic I have though is that in beta and reverse range I don't hear that typical growl sound that you usually hear in these turboprops.
