Game Dev, Foodbank + Returning to YouTube
Added 2022-10-15 18:00:42 +0000 UTCAs the title says, game development has genuinely been eating up the bulk of my life. And that's a big facet into a lack of updates.
Content has slowed down, but I just quit my job, so I'm planning on spending a big chunk of this week working on ironing down neglected content.
Thankfully, foodbank stuff has still been going on, just... in the background?
I recently helped an old friend of mine set up a JustGiving account to help raise funds for the Pakistan Floods, and used some of the funds there to help show some support.

Same goes with the Tesco stuff really. It's kind of awkward to record it every time, so I stopped. It looks really suspect and weird to the guards, and I kind of get it. I'll continue to find ways to show accountability which are a bit less... performative though.
A key fault on my behalf is my disinterest in being an influencer right now.
I want to make videos though. But, the rat-race of YouTube isn't as fascinating anymore.
So, I'll focus on making high quality videos I enjoy, and keep it stepping. Just letting you guys know since you guys have supporting, and deserve some context to why I fell off the face of the earth. One love, more soon. Take care!
