I was thinking about these 2 albums, "So Tough" (1993) and "Continental" (1997). They're some of my favorites ever, in both music and artwork terms, especially the latter. They're the exact vibe that I want Via to have.
-So Tough is a journey through the world, it starts in Mario's Cafe, goes around different places and returns to its origin at the end.
-Continental is a story that's half somber, half full of life. A switch happens in The Process
(Streaming platforms kinda ruin a cool thing these albums have, a lot of the songs link up seamlessly, on CD/vinyl sometimes you can't even tell it's a different song!)
My favorite songs from these albums are:
So Tough- Mario's Cafe, Railway Jam, Avenue, You're In A Bad Way, Leafhound, Conchita Martinez (I love Avenue the most)
Continental- Burnt Out Car, Sometimes in Winter, Winter Melody, Public Information Film, The Process, He's On The Phone, Stormtrooper In Drag, The Sea (I love The Process the most)
I'd love to hear what you think of these albums if you listen to them, or any of the songs!
