Welcome to our new Patreon page. If you're reading this, it's likely that you're a Fosstodon member.

First of all, thank you so much for being a part of the bustling community we have over on Fosstodon.

Why did we make this page?

We decided to create this Patreon page in order to make sure that we're able to keep the lights on at Fosstodon. We have already had to upgrade out hosting twice, so that we can cope with the load.

We also want to ensure that Fosstodon's future is secured. So being self-sufficient and community controlled will help that.

What if you get more than your hosting costs?

Once we have met our hosting fees for a month (if we meet them), we will make a donation to a FOSS project of your choosing. That's right, if you're one of our Patreons, you get the opportunity to choose where the donations go.

Finally, we wanted to say thank yo for looking at our page, and if you decide to donate, you are incredible.
