Hearing stories of asterios and his neises takes me back to the time asterios talked to the birdwatching with bill guys kid, and makes me think of how I learned kids like it when you talk to them like you would an adult, but obviously you have to expect them to have to worldly knowledge of a kid. However Asterios, seems to always treat kids like they're stupid little kids, but somehow expect them to have all the worldly knowledge of a 40 year old man. Like "hey there little buuuuuddy, have you seen alf? Remember pogs?"
