The Hour-Long Five Minute Podcast #3: Do You Remember...

Hey! I'm writing you from a fourteen-hour long trainride that'll take me from North Carolina back home. I had a pretty fantastic weekend with my buddy Mumkey Jones and his fabulous friends. If you don't know who they are, they're featured in the most recent episode of Waifu Wars – Mumkey, Assburger, Erich & Sheepover are all YouTube comedy nerds like I haven't hung out with since college. It was so cool to chill with people who seem to be making comedy for comedy's sake – we watched old movies, drank a little bit, Assburger & Sheepover did some fantastic cooking from scratch...it was pretty much just what I needed!

These next few days are gonna be just as busy. Wednesday afternoon I'm shooting episode two of NEET Eats, then I take off for Atlanta to film the first-ever episode of The Asterios Showkkinos live on stage Friday night. I've got a TON of friends coming to that show as well, and I'm gonna be working hard to make the livestream a fun watch for everyone who can't be there in person.

Doing lots of other stuff too -- personal stuff. Talking with lawyers, looking for housing that's WAY outside NYC (because of how expensive the city is), visiting my parents and trying to hit the gym as often as I can. For the past few months I've been on again/off again with a no-carb, no-sugar diet and it's really goddamn effective...so long as I can stick with it!

One of my favorite comedians, MST3k's J. Elvis Weinstein, lost twenty-five goddamn pounds on the diet. And I slim down on it too...when I can stick with it. It's not quite keto (because I'm not putting butter in my goddamn coffee), but if you're looking for something new it's worth a shot!
