Another New Animated Scene! A week of many meetings complete

Hope you're all faring well! 

INTERNS:

It's been a pretty big week on my end. The interns started their online internship at Nørlum helping to construct concept and character art for the TV-series pitch. It's been pretty much as great of a start as anything could be under the circumstances! I'm really looking forward to eventually showing the fruits of their labor - but it might take quite a while before the time is right for that. 

ANIMATION PRODUCTION DAYS PITCH:

On top of that, I was pitching at the online Animation Production Days. I think I pitched the project around 12 times during this week's one-on-one meetings. 

We already knew that it was a bit early to pitch the project, so I don't necessarily think we'll see any immediate results from these pitches... but it was nice to get it a bit out there! 

EPISODE 3 ANIMATION:

On top of that top, I've slowly started to initiate some people into the clean-up process of the episode, since there are now only 11 (11!!!) shots of rough animation left for the whole thing. Myra has just been trucking on with the animation and is luckily so far into the process that I didn't have to give many notes this week. The shot you see at the end of this scene is the latest one she's done! Next week is her final week, and I'm certainly gonna miss having her on board - but she's already gone above and beyond on the task that was set out for her!

This week I also had a meeting with somebody who could potentially work with me on the compositing for the episode.... but one thing at a time, I'd better get started on some backgrounds first!

Next week I'll have another meeting with the writer we're looking to bring on board for the TV-series' pilot scripts and more, and there'll still be plenty of online meetings with the interns. But still, there should be more time for me to get back to animating (I only animated two small shots this week and I'm rearing to mark the rough animation as 100% complete)!

Pretty cool week overall! The future is exciting - but for now I hope you'll enjoy this most recently completed scene. There's still fixes to be made, as there is with anything, but I'm pretty happy about how the ending turned out especially!
