Tales of Zale - Animatic Extract

Dear Patreons,

Last week I promised you an extract from the Episode 3 animatic I've been working on, and this week that's what you're getting!

This particular scene has always been one of the most difficult for me to storyboard in episode 3. Because of how the previous episode ended I knew Zale would have to encounter Morpheus again when returning to the ruins, and the scene would have to push this episode's plot forward in some way. But it was difficult for me to do in a way that felt natural. I think I found a lot of inspiration for this scene in France, and hopefully is shows and flows better. There are still things I need to fix and change, but I like this new version way better than the previous one, especially when put together with the surrounding scenes! In case you're curious I've attached the previous version of the scene as well.

Even if it takes a while I feel good about taking the time it takes to make this episode the best it can be!
