NOTE: Demo/old saves will NOT work for this build. Please start a new playthrough!

- Please, please, please don't stream or record playthroughs of these builds. They're not ready for everyone to see yet. We want to give the best impression to players, so please wait until the game is officially out before streaming it.
- It’s okay to share some non-spoilery screenshots on social media. If you share any images, we ask you also share a link to the Patreon. Help us make the game better!
- Please use this spreadsheet to report any bugs/spelling mistakes/crashes you get so we can look into them!
Demo Build Change Notes
This build contains day 1 and 2 of A Date with Death, doubling the length of the original demo (and then some).
Changelist:
- Added second day of the game
- Added computer feature
- Added minigames
- Added night time background
Known issues/things we're still working on:
- Accessories still aren't ready for the character creator. We're working on them :D
- Working on putting in the new character creator UI/character card maker still!
- The new short story ont he bookshelf isn't implemented yet.
- Additional job options will be added at a later time.
- Demo saves will not work, you have to start a new game or you will have many crashes.

2023-11-13 02:16:17 +0000 UTCI absolutely adored everything about day 2! Day 1 was already amazing on its own, but day 2 was even more so! The only little bug I noticed is that while trying to draw on the computer, several times, it would refuse to switch to pen from eraser, even if I clicked on the pen icon. Additionally, is him liking Axolotls too spoilery? I have an idea for some fanart I'd like to make, but I wouldn't wish to spoil anything for those who haven't played anything more than the demo yet.

2023-11-08 03:42:15 +0000 UTCI quite literally was suppose to go to bed when this dropped and very quickly decided to play it last night since I couldn’t wait a few hours to play it today. I was sitting there in my desk chair kicking my little feet going “ehe ehehe ehe” the entire time AHFAJFAJFAJF. The references had me ROLLING as well as Grims reactions to some of the choices. I’m super stoked for more in the future! Y’all are doing such an amazing job!!!!!

2023-11-07 11:54:39 +0000 UTCjust a tip for those on mac, if you try to open the application it might say something like "cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified". its just a security system thing on mac. If you want to open in, go to finder, find the app after you download it, and do control+click and select the open option 💪
