No they died here about the same time but sf2 came out in 91 so arcades were big the whole time that was out and sf2 plays similar to the arcade on snes but the graphics are horrible. the arcade looks and plays better so why would anyone play a port when you can play the best version now

2020-12-06 12:24:25 +0000 UTCStreet Fighter II Turbo. is fucking amazing tho on SNES. Arcades were on their way out in the states when I a kid. Sad. We had a decent one where I lived, but buy like 94ish, I'd have to br driven an hour in a half to get to a semi decent one. Did arcades in the UK have a longer lifespan that they did in the states? Cause by the mid 90s they were becoming ghost towns in America.
