The virus does fly out of your mouth like The Thing. It can live outside the body for a long time and it's transmitted by spittle. But I agree, that you should be able to go on a walk without the police harassing you.

2020-04-06 13:26:13 +0000 UTCThe premise is that there was an apocalyptic event where the worlds of the living and the dead merged and that somehow caused rain to cause things in the land of the living to age and die. Reedus is the son of the President of the US who has powers of some kind linked the fetus he carries or something. Some other characters are semi-immortal because of some circumstances that was happening to them during the Event. Reedus works for Bridges, a porter company that's trying to reconnect the US via a fungal network as he delivers packages.
