Ep. 751 - May December

Comments

Just saw May December and really really liked it. What my interpretation was from the final scene between Portman and Moore was that Moores character showed that she was manipulating the situation and had control the whole time. As in, she controls her kids life but also controls the narrative over how everything went about. Claiming that she is sort of innocent and naive while in fact knowing exactly what she was doing. The lawyer says that in his view Moores character believed that she could explain away the whole thing to the judge because she was so naive. But in her letter it's perfectly clear that she knows what she is doing and that it is wrong and illegal. Which clearly shows that she isn't as naive as she paints herself.
