Feminism Books:
Last Days at Hot Slit by Andrew Dworkin
Andrew Dworkin, she is the mind behind all feminists against porn, a notable misandrist, and many rad femmes cite her. Wanted to read her work to be familiar with the more extreme versions of feminism I dislike.
We Should All be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichue
Honestly, this book is a solid very normie feminist book. She makes a strong argument for women learning to delight and enjoy their own femininity. She is from Nigeria where gender roles are much more extreme and rigidly held.
Bad Feminist by Roxane Gray
Was hoping it was more of a fourth wave rejection of "lets just be shitty men" 3rd wave feminism. It kinda? was in the first chapter. I had to stop listening pretty quick as I found the book pretty empty of ideas.
Second Sex by Simon de Beauvoir
I am realizing that the last strong writers and thinkers for feminism were second wave ladies. Simon is just brilliant. I don't agree with everything she claims, but she has such strong logic and rhetorical positioning to outline the specific obstacles women face. She also doesn't do this silly, men are bad and always win and women are good and always lose shit. She is very deeply honest about the plight of varying intersections and doesn't overplay things for moralistic wins.
Other Books:
Misquoting Jesus by Bart Erhman
I don't know if I agree with everything Bart argues but he's a respected Biblical scholar and in this he writes about
