Article that outlines a total finding that mothers/non-parental partners abuse their children and are more culpable for children's death more than fathers/non-parental partners. However, this article outlines some of the methodological or analytical problems with this finding, namely being selection bias. However, it is an interesting point against the court bais of always leaving children with the Mother as default.
