March 2024 into April 2024

Plans going ahead:

Finish research tower 4. It's doable. I'm half done on the peril bits and the gameplay revisions aren't that big in the absolute sense. I just need to do writing consistently and keep feeling better. There's some hope for that, so I'm cautiously optimistic we will get there this month.

If I finish RT4? Finish salty's silly Witch Hunter Izana hard mode. If that goes quickly? Well that's not gonna happen but either start outlining for monsters kitsune 2 path or do some extra writing. Maybe polish off a short story.

March (Happy Monsters of the Forest anniversary!)

A pretty bad month honestly. I had a major health problem which was running me down all month until I realized what was happening. I was feeling super light headed and having a hard time standing at points. It's quite embarrassing what it really was. I was so dehydrated it was messing with my blood pressure. But the problem with things which make you feel confused and miserable is that it also makes it really hard to figure out why you feel so confused and miserable.

I got half of peril mode done. I really don't like writing it, but it's getting there. This was about 7k. Rest of it should be about as long, so health and focus permitting it's very doable.

I also did some writing to out line a comic in Daz3d. This was mostly opportunistic as running the render program also heats up where I live so the timing was very right to work on it and do renders. I got a couple of panels done. Every render takes about 30 minutes, and each page would take at least 2 panels so it's not really doable. But it was exploratory. I also did some drafting for a Monsters prequel game. Probably won't happen, would be in the starlight engine if it was.

Life situation: Getting better for once. I saw a lot of improvement when I started to drink water. It's not smooth and I get worse somtimes, but I do feel like I'm getting better in general. I'm also inching closer to getting focus medication, which in theory would let me just crank out stuff. I'm not sure it'd be good stuff, but by god it be nice to meet word counts.

The big reveal: I have decided to become a v-tuber! I will of course only play Monsters of the Forest on my hot-tub streams. Please see the image for the preview of my v-tuber avatar.
