Meet Rostush! Our adorable three-legged hero!
One lady contacted us about Rostush on the 19th of June, she found him on the streets in her village, Rostushe, in a very bad condition. (photo 1)
He had a very bad wound on the leg with worms in it, he was probably hit by a car, unfortunately there isn't a vet in the village and the lady asked for our help. The village was too far away from us and we couldn't go to get him, fortunately after 5 days one wonderful person offered to take him to us.
When he arrived we immediately took him to the vet. He was very anemic and unfortunately the leg couldn't be saved, it had to be amputated when he gets better. (photos 2-5)
In the beginning of August, he finally got better and was ready for the amputation, but another problem appeared.. His vet bill was too big, £500, and the vets couldn't do the amputation without at least half of the bill being paid. We asked our wonderful supporters on our social media profiles for help and fortunately we raised more than half of the needed money, £330. (photos 6-8)
Rostush finally had his leg amputated 1 week ago and he is feeling much better now. He is a very happy and joyful puppy and we can't wait to see him even happier in his new home and with his own family. (photos 9 & 10)
