Peki and Nana running with joy!

Animals see the fun in everything! In this case Peki & Nana thought it would be fun to run after us when we went to get some supplies at the store. When we saw them we turned back and just drove around the shelter until they decided that they wanted a break.
This shelter is located in the mountains in the city of Gostivar (an hour and a half away from the capital Skopje) so not a lot of people or cars pass by here. However, because we couldn't find a security guard to hire and there was no electricity for security cameras we had no choice but to take the dogs to Skopje where they might not have kennels yet but they do have a lot of space to run and are safer there, that's what's important after all.
We traveled to Gostivar from Skopje every day for the past year, we had a lot of ups and downs with many different people there. The safety of the animals we shelter is our priority and that is why for now we will totally turn out attention towards Skopje and the future permanent shelter.
