I seriously thought you were going to let the opening credits play to watch the new version play. D'oh. Tsianina Joelson played Varia. She is a rare example (for this series) of a woman having muscle, being a former fitness competitor. If you've ever seen Bring It On, you may recognize her as the lone XWP actress among several Buffyverse alums. She's pretty appropriate as Varia. It's a terrific performance by Kevin Smith.
