true i forgot about the writers strike infact it was saved by the fans after the rating drop to come back for season 3 if i remember correctly cause they canceled it

2025-05-23 17:54:22 +0000 UTCThere’s a reason for this not being a big finale. It was never intended to be. The first season should have been 22 episodes but there was a writer’s strike. NBC decided to just bring back the show the next fall for season two instead of having a shortened second half of season one. This really hurt the show ratings wise as it was picking up momentum at the end of the season and basically had restart 9 months later.
