eyyy it's been a minute since some good ol' fashioned mega men

I often find myself going overboard with instrumentation on covers; a string section here, some synth backing there, piano, synth bass, booms, chip shit, horns, bells, whistles, bah...

Mega Man music is fun and simple to cover because it's basically just covering a 80s/90s instrumental metal band. Bass, Guitar, Drums. That's it. Adding anything else to the mix kinda taints the tried-and-true formula of a 3-to-4 member rock band configuration. It's raw and mean and sounds good. I have fun throwing a cover together and people always dig it.

It just *works*, y'know?

Anyway, no one really asked for this cover. I just like the original because it's a super catchy earworm. I think I've always liked Super Guitar Bros' version of this track the most - you should check it out if you aren't familiar!

I'm not sure what to do for next week though. If you couldn't tell, it's kinda the slow season as far as hype and interesting new music goes. There's a lot of cool stuff coming out *SOON*

...but none really right now.

I guess we'll just have to wait it out and try some more classic culty stuff, eh?
