I had planned for Riley to use his magical masquerade mask to help justify why people didn't recognize him. I forgot about it when it came time to write it. I'll be adding that in in places.

Especially with other people dressing up like him; he may be recognizable but being where you aren't even remotely expected to be lets you get away with a lot. Acting like you should be there is very effective, too, and he's got both going for him. If he wanted to remain a total ghost he could have done that trick with the mask, but I think it's fine to save that for an inevitable round 2!

Its as inconceivable that Riley is walking around backstage as it is for Superman to be a regular working joe, so the mind rejects the possibility. Obviously its just a Riley cosplayer who put a lot of work into his role, right? There's a guy at work who looks *just* like Billy Crystal. Not once have I ever thought that Billy Crystal decided to take up a job as a filing clerk at a little known company.

The fact that they have memorabilia about him adds to the fact they don’t seem to care while also giving him a way to “disguise” himself. You should totally give him a moment of “damn it why didn’t I just use the mask” could be funny.

Maybe make it so one of the tickets he gets given by the storyteller lets him use an item from a story outside those stories? But then again I’m not sure if it’s intended that tickets interact with stuff from carousel so idk
