Thoughts on Itch
Added 2024-09-08 06:53:44 +0000 UTCSo, Itch was used to practice writing reruns and compact storylines (the rerun was compact, not the whole Itche section). If you have any comments on where I could improve, I'd appreciate it. If you have nice things to say, I would appreciate the encouragement too lol. Either way, nonstandard storylines like this will never be common exactly, but I need to be able to do one if the narrative requires it so I am working on them.
The next storyline is much more standard and character-driven.
I have a feeling Dina's rescue trope needs some breathing room, lol.

I think the reruns could have gotten dull, but the interactions with IBECS and the very cool final run led to them remeaining quite interesting to me.

2024-09-18 23:52:29 +0000 UTCDying is not the bad ending—being trapped forever in Carousel is the bad ending—but dying is just a part of life there. Infinitely respawning in hell is not a win. That is how I have attempted to define the stakes. Also, reusing rescue tropes to grind levels quickly is a big part of the direction the series is headed, and I never said they were single-use. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
