It has been dragging but that's mainly because we are waiting for certain things to happen, the rescues for example for a while now, explaining the situation to the vets and confronting the player that helped create the rewind. I love the mystery and thinking about the crazy motives of carousel and its people.

2024-05-22 02:45:25 +0000 UTCI do believe that there are some chapters that can be shortened and combined. That being said I do think what you have is good. What i worry about is that when the big reveals come they will be hard to follow because of how drawn out they are.

I am enjoying the story line of the prologue and all the additional lore, but I’m having trouble getting too invested because it feels like there’s things I’m missing from in book 2 and 3. Not because there’s gaps or anything, but just because I know that there’s gonna be more to expand the story. It’s not really your fault or anything, nothing you can do to speed up the corporate printing process, it’s just something I feel hanging overhead anytime I read a new chapter. Other than that I’m loving this section. Sure it feels like a marathon where the protagonists can’t get a break, but it feels like it’s supposed to be that way and that’s honestly what I expected from the prologue in the first place. I feel like I can feel the sense of anticipation and relief that the characters feel towards their eventual rest because I felt that winding tension each chapter, just like they did. It may not be to everyone’s tastes, but I’d definitely say it’s some excellent writing

2024-05-21 06:18:30 +0000 UTCWhile the tutorial does feel like it's running long, I can't feasible think of what you could had cut to shorten it. More than anything else, I'm just waiting for some of the domino's you've set up for a while now to start falling. You've done a great job of setting up the board through the characters and world building, but I feel like some plot elements need to start being crossed off the list in order to keep the momentum up and to make room for us to get excited to explore new/old elements.
