I really enjoy the book. You added more to the story and I look forward what other changes you planned for the next one. Especially the additional about the Lights behind the mountain and the important reason 'why' the veterans care about it. It is really fascinating information. The addition to Valerie's assistance to help the newbie is fairly new and somewhat engaging. Stuff you had originally as anecdotes of Riley's experience is more present as ongoing engagement like Bobby's question. There are tons I could point out from the changes you made from your original draft, even if my memory is pretty hazy from something I re-read three times before it was taken down. They are good changes. Aspect is fairly new and vague and probably explored in the next book, but I was surprised to see "raised by television" had aspect 'Fanatic' on it. I thought only the aspect class can wear them, though most people aren't lock in an aspect so early until they achieve it. I hope book two clears up about that. It had been a curious point since picking the 'wrong' aspect could affect something. I had made a lot of assumptions and speculation (not out loud of course), but that line from an Outsider bothers me. The book is *muah* an excellent read and I read it thoroughly to make sure I didn't miss anything. The stars are an interesting way to show exp and performance but I can't hate it. Interesting place to cut off the story but I imagine it does involve those mini stories you are planning to add. Look forward to seeing The Final Straw. And thank you for getting an Editor. One big pet peeve of mine is where people don't hire an editor to clean up their book. I already preordered your next book too.

There was one error in a chapter title where the apostrophe in Chapter 7 Dyer's Lodge broke the formatting so I reported it to Kindle staff. Great job editing, I saw no major typos in the text. Ending it on the first night back from the Grotesque hunt came across as slightly odd pacing, but I guess odd pacing is generally common for bound versions of web serials. Thanks for writing the bonus chapter of Scrunchies! That should help improve pacing in the next volume.
