We are mostly on schedule with the patch (only one and a half animation left to render) but we goofed up with one of the animations and had to restart it from scratch so that set us back a bit. We shouldn't be delayed more then 2 or 3 days from what we initially planned.
Meanwhile we have four pages of a βA Town called Freedomβ ready to go; just one more before we publish a little preview (But if I ever come up again with a script that involve a crowd in every second frame I expect somebody to immediately beat me up with a rusty pipe; the concept is every bit as viable as replacing toilet paper with handfuls of confetti π)
Speaking of TMS we're been toying with the idea of updating some of the initial frames that are starting to look a bit dated by now. We're going to publish some comparison examples (as in original vs hd) sometime after we publish the patch and leave it to the wisdom of the patrons to decide if it's worth the time or not.

2022-02-05 20:19:28 +0000 UTCIn my opinion you guys should prioritize developing the game over redoing older renders. They still look very good, even if slightly dated, and by the time the game is eventually complete you'd need to go back and fix even more stuff that then will be also looking dated. I think it's the kind of thing that is easier to do at the end of the project when there's only that visual touch-up to focus on and not much of the writing and coding. But that's just my two cents.
