Naruto: Team Sannin Chapter 10

Chapter 10: ShotoKage

The bridge was silent as they looked over the side and saw the army on the waves. For a brief moment for several people the world stood still as the news of the Mizukage and his army were just on the water a bit away from the bridge.

‘You have got to be kidding me?’ thought Naruto, ‘What the hell is the Mizukage doing here?’

‘I’m afraid we have a bigger problem, Naruto.’ Said Kurama inside Naruto as he got ready for battle.

‘Oh really and please tell me just how this can get any worse.’

‘That brat, the Mizukage, is a Jinchuriki.’

‘FUCK.’

‘He’s here,’ thought Zabuza as he began to sweat, ‘The Mizukage.’

‘This was not supposed to happen,’ thought Kakashi as he began to show signs of panicking, not realizing that Raven was slowly moving out of his grip. ‘There was no scenario where this would happen, what do I do?’

“What do we do Nowaki?” asked Chino as she and the rest of the lightning gang had held back to the tree line away from the fighting. “Should we run or stick to the plan and help back up Zabuza.

Nowaki was silent for a moment, “This has turned into a massive cluster fuck.”

Though right in front of the Mizukage was one who was still vocal, Raiga grinned, “So the false Kage has arrived.” His voice shocked quite a few.

Yagura Karatachi, the Mizukage, looked over at Raiga, “If you expect your words to bring out a reaction from me you’re sorely mistaken, I’ve known from the day you returned to us that you never accepted me as your kage, Raiga.”

“Correct, my Mizukage was the Third, an honorable man, one who would be ashamed of what has become of the land of Mist under your rule.” said Raiga who spoke boldly outwardly but on the inside he was thinking of escape plans.

Yagura closed his eyes, “I admit, things have not gone as smoothly as I had planned, but my plan will bring Kirigakure into a brighter future.”

As they spoke Naruto quickly jumped up to under the bridge with Shinta before both of them jumped up to the top of the bridge, “We need to get out of here.” Shinta said quickly, “We can’t take that army on.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” came a voice.

Kakashi quickly turned around to see Corvus and Qrow, “Get off of me,” said Raven as she kicked upward trying to hit Kakashi but only to hit air as he quickly dodged the kick. Raven then jumped back to rejoin her team, Qrow handing her blades back to her, “Well it’s been fun but we ain’t sticking around for this fight.” as made a portal for them, “If you leave let’s have a rematch mask.” As they quickly walked into the portal and disappeared.

“I suggest you follow their lead, Sasuke,” said Izumi, getting their attention as she put her cat mask back on, “This is a fight you can’t win, please run away.” as she jumped in the air, “and maybe one day you might meet my kids.” as she disappeared in a puff of smoke leaving only a log behind.

“IZUMI!!!” yelled Sasuke in rage.

“Sasuke shut up,” said Shinta while putting a finger to his mouth telling him to be quiet.

“What the hell is going on, now?” asked Tazuna in a loud voice, speaking on behalf of the other builders and himself. “Why are there more ninjas here?”

Sakura looked over the railing, “I think that kid is the Mizukage.”

All of the Kirinin flinched for a moment as for some reason the area went quiet at Sakura’s words. Yagura slowly looked up at the bridge with a glare that only affected some of the shinobi, Tazuna on the other hand was confused, “HUH? You mean to tell me that brat holds the same rank as the Hokage!?”

A visible eye twitch showed up on the Mizukage as he looked up at the bridge a twitch that didn’t go unnoticed by Naruto giving him an idea, he turned to the others and spoke in a quiet voice, “I have an idea, Kakashi stall him for a moment.”

“What?” as Kakashi was still thinking of just running.

“You heard him stall,” said Naomi.

Kakashi with no other options in sight did as he was told and jumped on the railing, standing before the army of Kirinin, “Lord Mizukage, I am Kakashi of the Hidden Leaf Village, I know it might be a mute point to ask but why are you here in the land of waves?”

His words seemed to calm the Mizukage down a bit, “The land of waves as a whole is the middle ground between the land of Mist and the Land of Fire. I’ve had shinobi keeping an eye on this bridge and realized that having it completed would be a problem for us. With this bridge the land of fire would have an excellent place to stage any operation in our territory they so desired. Logically it would be in our best interests to make sure that it wasn’t complete or it was under our control. I thought that fat tub of lard, Gato could handle it without us telling him to, but clearly I was wrong.”

“Wait, are you saying Gato was working for you?” asked Kakashi.

Yagura gave a slight chuckle, “No not at all, I personally don’t care about his operations other than the fact that it kept up a nice wall for us.”

“If anyone tried to get to the Hidden Mist, through the Land of Waves…”

“That fat baby would make so much noise,” said Yagura with a smile, “Anytime he had issues he would be kicking and screaming throughout the underworld, making it quite easy to keep tabs on things here and letting him do as he pleased saved us some resources.”

‘Damnnit, we never considered that,’ Thought Kakashi, ‘Thought it makes sense with Gato in control they wouldn’t need to worry about any issues coming from or through the Land of Waves, leaving their only point of entry through the northern part of Kirigakure, making invasion impossible even with the on going civil war.’

“Wait wait wait,” said Naruto, getting everyone’s attention, as he leaned on the railing of the bridge giving the Mizukage a bored look. “I’m still a little confused here, that little kid is a Kage.” His words caused another moment of silence as the shinobi flinched.

Kakashi’s eye nearly popped out as he looked at Naruto. “Narutoooo….”

Yagura's face returned to one of anger making his ninja a little worried, “Lord Mizukage, would you like us to go up there and handle them?” asked one of his Shinobi.

“No, nobody moves unless I say so.” Ordered Yagura before directing his attention towards Naruto, “Judging by the orange coat, you must be the Uzumaki I heard about.”

“That’s me.” said Naruto, waving back at him.

“I admit, you are an interesting surprise I didn’t expect when I was on my way over here. Normally I wouldn’t do this but I have an offer for you.” said Yagura, getting Naruto’s attention. “Your clan left quite a plethora of interesting seals and objects that we have collected, even now my people have only scratched the surface of what your clan has left.” Naruto just raised an eyebrow in surprise, “Seals aren’t just clan to clan, anyone can learn them, you’re clan just as a little advantage is all so I’m willing to give you a pardon if you help us. I’ll even let everyone here go if you come with us.”

Everyone turned to Naruto as they waited for him to respond or say something. Some were expecting a down right refusal, while others could see him accepting the deal. In the end he just began to laugh and soon Shinta joined in. “Holy shit, Shinta you weren’t kidding.”

Shinta was laughing harder, “I know they're super desperate,” he said as he continued laughing, “First they make a kid a Mizukage and now they're breaking their own rules and asking for help, damn I had no idea they were this despite.”

This made the Mizukage furious, “Now now hold it for a moment,” said Naomi, for a moment they thought she would be a voice of reason, “The little guy might not even realize he’s the Mizukage, they wouldn’t make a child a kage, maybe they're just pretending he is.”

Yagura’s face was now full red, “I’m a goddamn adult you brats, I am the Mizukage, I have a wife, I have children, I am an ADULT!!!”

Team Sannin was silent for a moment as they processed the information, “Bullshit,” said Shinta, “Who would want fuck a brat.”

“A shotocon,” said Naomi.

“I guess,” said Naruto as he thought it over, “I mean if he is a kage that might do it for a woman.”

“That or his wife is a loli.” said Shinta, posing the idea.

“A loli?” said Naruto as he thought it over, imagining Yagura with a wife looking as young as him, “That is weird but I could see that working.”

“Eeeeh, I don’t know,” said Naomi, “I know some old bastard who might be interested in something like that or they might just be interested in plowing a Shotokage.”

As team Sannin kept talking about their odd conversations, Yagura was getting angrier and angrier, rage would not be a good enough word to describe him. His own men were backing up away from him and trying to move their boats away from the utterly enraged kage.

Seeing this Kakashi quickly moved his team and all the bridge builders away from team Sannin. Zabuza quickly got to the bridge and grabbed Haku and moved to the otherside of the bridge. Raiga quickly moved away along with his men trying to get a bit of distance between them and the enraged kage.

Yagura was so angry he barely heard Naruto’s voice calling him, “Hey! Hey, Shotokage, is your wife a loli?”

“THAT’S FUCKING IT!!!” yelled Yagura as he flew through several hand signs in a flash of a second, channeling an amount of chakra that only a Jinchuriki could. The water under Yagura began to swirl around him and turn into a dark purple.

‘Naruto, he’s trying to use a technique similar to that of a Tailed Beast Ball.’ Warned Kurama.

Naruto grinned, ‘Perfect.’

“PREPARE TO DIE, BRATS,” yelled Yagura as a massive ball of water and chakra formed in front of him, it was easily three times the size of Yagura and clearly strong enough to wipe the bridge from existence, “Tsunami Tidal Wave Ball.” The massive ball of energy flew through the air and for the briefest of moments all onlookers thought it was the end for team Sannin and the destruction of the bridge.

On the other hand, Team Sannin’s Naruto Uzumaki smiled as he jumped in front of the ball. “GOTCHA!!!” Naruto quickly tossed out several scrolls with one of them puffing out smoke before turning into a scroll the same size as Naruto. Naruto brought a solid black scroll and held it out causing all the scroll to unravel with the big one facing the ball. “Uzumaki secret technique: Mirror Scroll Jutsu!” Chakra then jumped out of the smaller scrolls creating a giant net of chakra around the big scroll, as several black tendril shot out of the big scroll before forming several symbols across the chakra net. The massive ball of destruction hit the chakra net, many thought it would just pass through the net but instead it began to disappear or be erased by the net as it made contact, soon the ball was gone leaving only the chakra net and the scrolls, shocking everyone.

Yagura’s mouth was now open as he and all of his men stood stupefied at what they were seeing, ‘My jutsu… was erased!? How…I’ve destroyed armies with that jutsu.’

“HEY SHOTOKAGE!” yelled Naruto getting his attention, before raising his free hand, “EAT SHIT!” The scroll in the center of the net began to glow as the symbols on the net began to swirl and a familiar sight that just disappeared was coming back in the opposite direction.

Yagura and the Kirinin only realized it when it was too late, ‘He called it the Mirror Scroll Jutsu. He reflected it!’ thought Yagura. As several of his men tried to run but many like Yagura also noticed something else, ‘It’s bigger and faster, those other scrolls around the net must also be feeding it more chakra…there’s no time to dodge and I can’t build up enough chakra on my own to counter it,’ Yagura quickly brought his hands up into a seal, ‘Damn you brat, I’ll kill you if it’s the last thing I’ll do!’

The next moment could only be described as another sun appeared on the water as the massive ball of chakra erupted creating a shockwave that made the bridge shudder. Everyone ducked for cover and braced themselves as they felt the massive explosion shake their bones, with many of them believing this was their final moments.

After what felt like several minutes the blast quickly died down, leaving many to double check if they were among the living, Kakashi on the other head immediately looked up and saw that all of his students were okay and picking themselves up, he then looked past them and saw Team Sannin. Shinta and Naomi were both holding on to some ninja wire that was wrapped up into a rope connected to something that was hanging over the opposite side of the bridge from the massive explosion and Kakashi knew what it must have been as he jumped to the railing and looked down. “Naruto?!”

Down below was Naruto dangling upside down by ninja wire wrapped around his waist in a way not to hurt him, holding the big scroll in one hand and the black scroll in the other. “That was awesome,” said Naruto with a smile as he looked up at Kakashi, “Was that awesome Kakashi?”

Kakashi gave a sigh of relief, as he grabbed the wire and started to help pull Naruto, “Yes, Naruto, that was indeed impressive.”

Naruto was then pulled up over the railing by Shinta, “Impressive is nothing,” said Shinta as he set Naruto down, “That was totally awesome, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a blast like that before.”

Naomi nodded in agreement as she began to collect her wire, “A blast like that would have destroyed a small town.”

“You think it was strong enough to kill a Mizukage?” asked Naruto. Kakashi then moved over to the otherside of the bridge to check on the army from Kirinin.

“Naruto,” team Sannin looked to see team seven looking at them, “What was that?” asked Sakura.

Naruto raised his big scroll that was now in terrible condition, “This was a scroll jutsu to reflect ranged attacks back at my opponents.”

Sai looked at the scroll, “Part of it is disintegrating, can you even use it again?”

“No, I wasn’t meant to reflect that powerful of an attack,” said Naruto as he dropped the now useless scroll revealing several burn marks on his hand. “Though it held up well enough to throw back that attack.”

Inwardly Naruto was thanking Kurama for his help for keeping the scroll together, “Don’t mention it brat,” said Kurama, “I’m going to start healing your hand, get ready, we’re not done yet.”

Naruto stood up, “Come on we ain’t done yet.” as they all moved over to the other side with Kakashi.

“I’m not entirely sure, Naruto,” said Kakashi as he was looking down, “It looks over to me.”

They all looked over the railing and Sakura had to slap a hand over mouth to stop herself from vomiting, the noise of the bridge builders vomiting didn’t help at all. “Whao…” was all Naruto could say as they looked down at the red water that was now littered with corpses and body parts. From what little movement their was, some were still clinging to life but with those wounds their chances of survival was slim.

In the tree line, several groups had varying reactions, the Lightning Gang just stood awe struck at the aftermath below. “Nowaki, what now?” asked Chino.

Nowaki just shook his head, “I don’t know.”

A little farther away stood Corvus, Qrow and Raven, “HOLY SHIT!!!” yelled Raven.

“Did that kid really just wipe out Kirigakure?” asked Qrow who was still now believing what he was seeing.

Corvus just chuckled, “All that boy did was reflect the Mizukage’s own attack back at him, this is the result of Yagura’s own anger and lack of control.”

Tayuya stood tall on the beach trying to see where the army went, “What the hell just happened?”

“A massive explosion,” said Isaribi as she appeared from the water.

“Isaribi! How didn’t you get caught in that?”

Isaribi walked out of the water, “Naruto suddenly appeared in the water and signaled me to get out before disappearing in a puff of smoke, I think that was his shadow clone trying to warn me.”

“Then did that guy do all this?” asked Tayuya, “How strong is he?”

Over on the opposite side of the bridge in a tree stood Izumi watching the scene. “Well this small job turned into a disaster.” She then noticed someone in the tree with her and recognized who it was, “So I’m going out on a limb here and say your idea was to send in Yagura along with his army in an attempt to capture the Nine tails and if the Nine Tails did appear and fight the Three Tails, it would give you a chance to capture two Tailed Beasts at the same time.” The man in the tree gave a low growl, “I’ll take that as a yes. You could have told me you know.”

“You had already left for your job beforehand and it was a sudden decision. If I had sent word, it would have gotten to you too late.” said the Man.

Izumi gave a slight hum as a response, “So tell me what exactly is your plan now, Madara.” The masked man wordlessly turned to Izumi, “If you blame somebody for your identity, then maybe next time have an input on the teams that are made, and maybe don’t put an Uchiha on the same team with the only man who knows who you are.”

Madara turned back to the bridge, “My identity is not important at the moment, what is important right now is this fight, it’s not over yet.”

Right below the bridge several bubbles came up to the surface, more and more appeared as something massive began to float to the surface. “Oh shit,” said Naruto, “I knew it couldn’t have been that easy.”

The surface of the water broke as a massive turtle shell came out of the water. The shell then quickly disappeared in a puff of smoke revealing Yagura and a handful of his men, they all looked a little injured but nowhere near as mangled as the others. Yagura looked up at the bridge, “Congrats, Uzumaki, you have taken a majority of my army but today…YOU DIE!” Yagura the jumped up into the air for the bridge and the leaf shinobi got ready for him but before he could reach the height of the bridge his instincts immediately told him to raise his staff as he blocked an attack from a rouge nin, “ZABUZA!”

“How ya doing Mizukage?” asked Zabuza with a smile under his mask. They quickly both disengaged and landed on the water.

“MIZUKAGE SAMA!” yelled a Kirinin before a bolt of lightning strikes the water between them and Yagura/

“I wouldn’t try that if I were you,” said Raiga, holding out his Kiba blades, as he stepped back on the water in front of Yagura. “For the third Mizukage, Yagura, today you die.”

Yagura stared at the two former Kirinin and gave a slight chuckle, “You two think you can defeat me. I may have lost 80-no 85 percent of my forces, I still have my elite force,” the men that Yagura saved all got into their fighting positions. “You can’t fight all of us.”

“Who said it was just the two of us,” said Zabuza as the weather suddenly shifted as a sudden storm appeared above them. “I’m so happy we let them go last.”

Yagura became confused as the weather changed and the sounds of several small explosions and screams from behind him got his attention. He looked behind him and saw past his elite forces that several survivors from earlier that tried to stand and still fight suddenly burst from the inside out. “That’s the Ketsuryugan?” as he recognized the ability, he then scanned for the user and saw another group on the water and saw a familiar green hair of the man leading the new group, “Impossible.. I killed everyone from the Taifu, how is a Typhoon release user still alive!?”

“As much as I want to kill you for what you did to my clansmen, I know I’d just get in the way,” Nowaki smiled and raised a kunai, “We’ll handle the remaining Kiri-nin, just make sure that bastard dies.”

“With pleasure,” Zabuza said as he raised his blade, “Haku, help them, leave the Mizukage to us.”

“Yes sir.” said Haku jumping past them and began to attack the elite forces.

“The same goes for you as well,” said Raiga as he directed his men to keep the Kiri-nin forces at bay, “Karashi, you’re the only one I want to fall back, keep Ranmaru out of harm's way.”

“Yes Raiga,” said Karashi as he took that backpack that was holding Ranmaru back to the treeline.”

Above them on the bridge the leaf nin saw the tides turn, “That girl is awake already?!” said Naomi, shocked to see Haku moving, “She must have had some sort of medicine to walk up that quickly or maybe a unique technique perhaps.”

“Does that matter right now?” asked Sasuke.

“Sasuke, right.” said Sakura, “What should we do, Kakashi sensei?”

Kakashi thought for a moment as he looked at the brawl of Kiri-nin shinobi versus the rogue shinobi, “The big fight between the two groups might be close, but the fight with the Mizukage on the other hand…doesn’t.”

“They're going to need help,” said Naruto. “Once the Mizukage finishes those two he’ll definitely become for us. Shinta…”

Shinta sighed, “Looks like I’m going to be following my fathers footsteps sooner than I thought.” He then wordlessly jumped onto the rail of the bridge before walking off of the bridge, doing a flip in the air and landing on the surface of the water between Raiga and Zabuza, “Sup, you guys don’t mind if I join do you?”

This surprised Yagura and the two swordsman, though a few ontop of the bridge were surprised the most, “What is Shinta doing?” yelled Sakura.

“Evening the playing field,” said Naomi, “And removing the kage from it.”

“What?”

“We don’t have a choice here do we?” asked Sasuke.

“It does seem to be the most logical option,” said Sai, “The biggest threat here is without a doubt the Mizukage, getting rid of him would improve our odds.”

“Yes it would,” said Kakashi before glancing over at Naruto, “But we can keep improving those odds.”

Naruto saw the look and sighed, “Okay…” Naruto then rolled his neck side to side before pulling out the black scroll again, “Naomi watch my back, please. This may get rough.”

Naomi gave him a nod, “Of course.”

Naruto then jumped on the railing, “Hey Zabuza, Raiga.” he yelled getting their attention, “It shouldn’t take me more then five minutes to unlock whatever power your blades may hold, so let’s make a deal.”

This easily got their attention, “NO,” Yelled Yagura who quickly made a hand sign and brought his hand up, “Water Bullet Jutsu” As he shot several extremely fast bullets at Naruto only for the bullets to be knocked out of the air by a upward sprout of water, “What?” He followed the sprout of water to see Shinta standing where it originated from. “This is the weird technique the Reaper used.”

“Weird?” Shinta just gave a chuckle as the water rained down on him, “I wouldn’t call it weird,” he then focused his chakra to collect all the droplets of water on him and move the water to form spikes all around his body, “This is the creative art of assassination.”

Yagura spun his staff around, “You won’t be killing me that easily.”

Shinta smiled as he too spun his staff around, with each time he spun his staff, the tip touched the water, collecting it and form spear heads on each end, “We’ll see about that,” before pointing his now double headed water spear at Yagura, “I’ll cover him for five minutes, I suggest whatever deal Naruto gives you, you take it.” Before charging at Yagura.

The two swordsmen then turned away from the fight to see Naruto and Naomi landing on the water. “The deal is incredible simple, I unlock your blades and you help us defeat Yagura and then afterwards you guys and everyone else you brought all leave and you don’t come back, that means no fucking with the land of Waves or with the bridge builders got it.”

“Deal,” said Zabuza as he held his Execution Blade out, “My end goal is the head of that man over there. I couldn’t care less about those damn bridge builders now.”

“I also agree,” said Raiga as he held out Kiba, “We came here originally to strike a deal with you in the first place, I wish to live my own life but I can’t, not until I get rid of that man who has led our land into damnation.”

Naruto gave a nod before opening the black scroll causing tendrils of ink to come off of it’s pages, “Then let’s begin, Naomi, cover us.”

Naomi grabbed her wires and made a net around them, “Leave it to me, no one is going to get close.” As she then turned to Yagura who while fighting Shinta was looking directly at Naruto.

‘Dammit, this is getting worse and worse by the minute,’ Thought Yagura as he kept deflecting strikes from Shinta, he tried to counter but Shinta just dodge or grazed him with a water spike, ‘This brat is good, easily Jonin level, without a doubt he is the Reaper’s son. The Uzumaki though right now is a bigger problem, if he can truly give those two powers then I’ll have no choice but to unleash the Tailed Beast. I’m confident I could take any of them on by myself, but together with the power of those weapons, that's another story.’

‘If you need power, you can.’ came a voice inside Yagura.

‘No, not yet, Isobu,’ Said Yagura inside his head, ‘I need to save that power for when I get back to deal with that false Mizukage, Mei Terumi.’

‘Very well, but be careful, I have a weird feeling from that Uzumaki boy.’ Said Isobu.

Outside Shinta noticed a small lag in Yagura, ‘So I guess all Jinchuriki’s slow down a bit when talking to their Tailed Beasts. Well I better get his attention then.’ Shinta made a step forward sending his chakra in the water causing a spike of water to appear between Yagura’s feet, but Yagura was fast enough to step back but not fast enough to dodge it completely as it cut part of his chest. Shinta then swung his water spear, forcing Yagura to jump back. When Yagura landed a massive cut appeared on his shoulder. “I suggest you pay attention.”

Yagura only gave Shinta a neutral look as a surprising amount of chakra began to heal his wounds. “Don’t worry, for a brief amount of time you will have my undivided attention.” Yagura dashed forward at a blinding speed giving a massive swing with his staff, Shinta blocked it but was still sent backwards, Yagura followed it up by several water bullets.

Shinta quickly spun his staff, deflecting a majority of the water bullets but dodged the last one by ducking under it and sweeping the top of the water with his staff, sending a large blade of water at Yagura. Shinta prepared for a counter but Yagura got hit by the blade of water before turning into a puddle of water himself. ‘A water clone! When did he use that?’ Shinta wondered as something was under the water below him, ‘I didn’t even notice the clone being made, impressive, but…’ Shinta instantly moved out of the way of a shark made of water jumping at him from below, “predictable.”

Shinta then aimed his staff down in the water and stabbed it. Down below Yagura was confused at what Shinta was doing before feeling a sharp pain in his leg, he looked down and saw a shallow cut on his leg. ‘He hit me underwater but how? I didn’t see any signs or jutsu being used at all.’

Shinta smiled, ‘You are stronger than me Yagura but I have more skill and a better teacher.’

Shinta then remembered one of his first lessons, “Boy, you are now three years old and are able to use a few jutsus, your training is going well, now it is time to move onto something bigger understand,” The child simply nodded, “Good, now a days if you ask a shinobi about what jutsus they would use, it would most likely be either a clan technique or a jutsu based on their chakra release. Quick question, what is chakra release?”

“Chakra releases are the natural transformation of someone’s chakra, the five basic releases are fire, wind, lightning, earth and water. There is also the yin and yang chakra release as well. No matter who you are, when you are born your chakra is going to be one of those elements.”

“Good, well done, boy.” He then noticed his son’s eye darted for a moment, “Do you have a question?”

“Yes,” said the boy quickly, “I was wondering what is your chakra release?”

“Good question, but right there is proof of the saying, ‘That some questions should never be answered.’ The boy raised an eyebrow slightly, “You see I have never once checked what my chakra release is. Years ago when I was doing a job alongside some rogue nin, they told me about chakra release. I had never heard of this before, as you know I am self taught, though this new information made me realize that everyone was using a crutch while I wasn’t. Since I never knew what my chakra release was I never gave up when it came to learning a specific jutsu, I persevered and learned them without second thought. The next reason was that I noticed everyone was relying on their chakra nature alone. ‘You might have been a real evil man, but thanks dad,’ Thought Shinta as he looked down at a confused Yagura, ‘Getting in the water was your biggest mistake.’ Shinta then began to stab the water rapidly, using his chakra to pressurize and shooting water bullets through the water at Yagura. The Mizukage quickly realized that what was usually the safest place for him was now the most dangerous as he quickly jumped to the surface only to meet Shinta’s staff as he landed a clean hit on the Mizukage sending him a ways away. Yagura quickly corrected himself and landed on his feet. Shinta smiled, “It must be embarrassing for you Shotokage, getting your ass handed to you by a kid.”

Yagura was getting angry again but this time he made sure to keep it under control, “I would hardly call a monster like yourself a kid.” Yagura then focused his chakra, “And like a monster I will slay you here.”

“Bring it,” said Shinta before noticing a hint of red in his chakra, “Oh shit…” suddenly Yagura was in front of him, Shinta raised his staff to block but it was too late as Yagura shoved his staff into Shinta’s gut and sending him flying. Shinta quickly landed on his feet before Yagura appeared for another strike from his staff though this time he was able to block the staff but not the kick that also hit his gut. ‘Son of a Bitch!’ he thought as he got sent flying back again. Shinta was unable to land on his feet this time but was able to keep himself above the water. “Son of a Bitch!” Shinta quickly rolled out of the way as Yagura almost landed on top of him. Shinta then swiped his hand across the water, sending several water bullets at Yagura.

A few of the bullets hit Yagura causing some minor wounds. Yagura quickly raised his staff, blocking Shinta. Shinta then furiously began to attack the kage but each strike was blocked until Yagura counterattacked Shinta with another kick sending him flying back. ‘This boy is impressive, even with the Tailed Beast power flowing through me, he was able to dodge and attempt a counter attack with several heavy blows that would easily have knocked the weapon out of a seasoned shinobi’s hands.’ He looked over and saw Shinta already standing again, “I see you really are a monster, the son of the reaper. If I don’t kill you now, you’ll just become just as much of a threat as he was.”

Shinta, despite his wounds, gave Yagura a smile, “Well I hope I live up to it.”

“You won’t live long enough to.”

“Are you sure about that?” asked Shinta as he sat down, “Cause your four minutes are up.”

Yagura went wide eyed as his instincts told him to dodge along with Isobu yelling at him to look out, he jumped as a massive red blast hit where he was standing, he then raised his staff as a hard bolt of lightning sent him downward. Yagura hit the water hard but with the help of Isobu was able to recover quickly as he looked up and saw Naomi healing Shinta while Naruto protected the two, though the ones that got his attention were Zabuza and Raiga. Zabuza’s Kubikiribocho was now liquid red as if the blade was made of liquid chakra with the Uzumaki symbol on the blade. Raiga’s Kiba was now glowing reddish with lightning Uzumaki symbols coming off of it. “This is bad.”

“No shit,” said Zabuza as his sword began to glow brighter, “Cause this is where you die, Yagura.”
