Eri Vs the Leprechaun

"WEEEEEE" cheered Eri as she rode on Izuku's back.

Izuku was currently running from rooftop to rooftop, throughout the city. "I can't believe you talked me into this."

"Oh relax," said Yae as she ran beside him. "We aren't going to be able to go on patrol when we start school next month, so we just need to kick as much butt as we can before that happens."

"I doubt that will happen," said Melissa as she ran close by. "Things have been quiet lately, but at least Eri looks like she's having fun."

"Oh yeah this is really fun," said Eri. "Faster, faster."

Izuku sighed for a moment, "Okay just give me a-" An explosion went off in the distance, "What was that?"

"Come on let's check it out," said Yae as they ran towards the building with smoke coming out of the roof.

They landed on the building on the opposite side of the street from the building that was clearly smoking. "Whoa what happened?" asked Melissa.

"I don't know?" said Izuku as he kneeled down so Eri could get off.

"Look, someone's running," said Yae as she pointed to a figure that was running in the distance. "I'll get him." as she pulled out her gun.

"Wait," yelled Melissa as she put a hand on Yae's gun, "We shouldn't just attack someone at random, we still have no idea who or what did this, and I should also remind you both that we're due to start UA in a month."

Yae got an annoyed look while Izuku nodded in agreement as he thought over the facts, Eri on the other hand noticed something shining in the corner of her eye. "While I agree with Melissa we should go and make sure everyone is okay," said Izuku as Eri walked across the roof.

She picked up the shiny object and realized it was a coin a shiny gold coin. 'What is this doing here?' thought Eri as she then noticed there was another on the ladder leading to the fire escape. Eri jumped on the ladder and looked down as she saw people down below loading something in a van.

Down below two big men were loading bags into a van. "Will you two lugs hurry it up, that moron blew the place up early. We need to go while the getting is good." said the leader of the group a small man who wore a bowler hat on the top of his head. He was currently eating out of a box.

"It would help if you moved some of the bags." said one of the big guys.

"What was that?"

"Nothing boss."

"Hey, boss?" asked the second one. "Why are you eating that?"

"I'm stress eating, none of this is going as planned." replied that man.

"Yeah, but why are you eating Lucky Charms?"

The small man gave his goon a dangerous glare.

"Are you a Leprechaun?"

The short man quickly turned around to see Eri looking right at him. "What the-where did you come from?"

"I followed the coins," said Eri holding up the coins. "Just like in that book Melissa read me, well actually there was a rainbow in that book."

The short man was almost instantly angry but calmed down quickly as an idea popped into his head. "Why yes, my little darling, I am a Leprechaun, and these fine men here are my helpers."

"Helpers for what?"

"Why moving me gold. If you can't tell this place is quite dangerous, too dangerous for me to leave my gold." said the Leprechaun as he held his hand. "So if you don't mind."

Eri was about to hand over the gold coins when she stopped and stared at the Leprechaun. "Are these really your gold coins, shouldn't they be in some sort of pot?"

The Leprechaun was getting angry but one of his goons stepped in. "Pots are so last century and hard to carry around, that's why the boss switch to nice bags, much easier to move around."

"Less clunky too." said the other one.

Eri thought it over for a second before thinking that it makes sense. "Oh okay."

"ERI!" yelled Izuku as he, Melissa, and Yae jumped off the roof.

"DEMON SLAYER!!!" Yelled the Leprechaun and his goons. The Leprechaun then started spinning becoming a tornado of gold dust, blinding everyone in the area.

Soon the van shot out of the gold dust tornado with the Leprechaun on top. "That should keep them busy for a while." as he turned around only to come face to face with Eri who was also on top of the van. "What the...Where did you come from?"

Eri gave him the best angry look she had, "You're a bad Leprechaun."

The man just stared at her as he sighed, "You brat, I'm not....Well of course I'm a bad Leprechaun, how else do you think we get our gold." said the man as he decided to go with the lie. 'Might as well, for now, I'll just scare the kid a little, no reason to hurt a child.'

Eri puffed her cheeks out in anger and raised both of her fists in the air. "Bad Leprechaun." As she slammed both fists in the roof of the van making a massive indent.

The Leprechaun's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "WHAT THE!!!" He then shook his head as he remembered the video. "Wait for a darn second your the little girl from that mall video." Eri raised her fists again, "Ah wait a sec." as he jumped out of the way as Eri slammed her fists into the place he was just standing. She hit the van so hard it started rocking and causing it to swerve into the other lane.

The goon driving quickly was able to turn the van back into the proper lane, after they were in the clear the second goon popped his head out of the window. "Boss, what the heck is going on up there?"

"It's the brat, she's got some sort of strength quirk." said the Leprechaun quickly before Eri grabbed his arm.

"You are going to Leprechaun jail."

"Wha...a forget this, sorry kid." as the man activated his quirk spraying Eri with golden dust.

Eri quickly let go as she covered her face, the force of the dust was enough to send her backward rolling, Eri quickly slammed her fingers into the back of the van giving her a grip to hang on as she dangled from the back of the van.

"ERI!!!"

The Leprechaun looked up to see the three young vigilantes hot on their tails. "Are you freaking kidding me." He jumped to the front. "Pedal to the metal, we got company."

The goon driving saw them in the rearview mirror, "Oh crud." The man started to swerve and make wild turns down the street trying to lose them but nothing was working as they kept chasing them.

While this was happening Eri was able to climb up to the top of the van. The short man saw this, "Oh come on, it's just gold, why can't you just let me have it."

"That's wrong, Leprechauns shouldn't steal other people's gold, just because you lost your pot doesn't mean you should take others," said Eri, completely serious.

The Leprechaun sigh, 'She really does believe I'm some sort of Leprechaun.' His fist filled with gold dust. "You'll understand when your older brat, until then, shove off." as he sent another torrent of gold at Eri.

Eri this time jumped at him with more force, grabbing both of his arms as she tackled him to the ground, with his arms aimed at the front of the van the gold dust covered the window, blinding those inside.

The goons inside screamed as they lost control of the van. Melissa jumped forward sending her whip blade out wrapping around the bumper. "Izuku, Yae, the tires."

"Got it." Izuku dashed forward cutting both the right tires while Yae quickly shot the two tires on the left. Melissa quickly pumped her heart and pulled forcing the van to stop.

With the van stopped, Eri quickly grabbed the Leprechaun by the arms and started spinning swinging him around like a helicopter blade. For the next few moments, the Leprechaun thought he was on some sort of amusement park ride as he felt the world spin. Everyone who was watching made circles with their heads as they watched the small man get spun around like a doll.

Soon Eri started to slow down before she stopped and put the man down. When the Leprechaun felt the roof of the van beneath his feet he tried to stand which was a mistake as the world was still spinning along with his stomach. He was only able to take a few wobble steps before, "You brat....me ...Lucky Charms." as he fell over off the van crashing to the ground.

Eri jumped down and immediately received a huge from Izuku. "Eri are you okay?"

Eri smiled. "I beat the bad Leprechaun."

It took Izuku a moment to register what Eri had just said. "Leprechaun?"

Melissa took out her phone, "Oh yeah I guess it is that time of year."

"What time of year?" asked Izuku totally confused.

Yae patted him on the back, "Your green enough as is, don't worry about it." The van door just opened up as the two goons spill out, "You two however don't move."

"Shit." said One goon as he tried to run only for Melissa to quickly kick him in the chest sending him back knocking down the other goon. "Ow."

Yae then quickly took out her rifle and fired a few shots sticking the goons to the van. "You two aren't going anywhere."

It didn't take long for the police to come by and took the three gold robbers away while the others went back home to Izuku's apartment building.

"We're home," announced Izuku as he entered him and his mom's new apartment building. "Melissa and Yae are here as well."

"Hi," said Melissa loudly.

"Oh hello their girls, how are you?" asked Inko.

"Doing fine," said Yae. "Just enjoying our last run."

"Oh how was your guy's last run?" asked Inko

"It was so much fun," said Eri jumping up and down slightly. "I beat up a Leprechaun."

Inko blinked for a second before smiling, "That's great sweetie, what does that mean?"

"It's quite the story," said Izuku.

"Not really," said Yae. "We found a bank that had a bunch of gold in it getting robbed by a midget."

"Well when you say it like that it sounds kind of lame," said Melissa. "You could at least mention the van chase."

"Not much of a chase," said Yae before the doorbell rang. "Huh?"

"Who could that be, at this hour?" Inko opened the door to find no one there but a few boxes of cereal. "What?"

"Lucky charms!" said Eri with glee as she saw the sugar breakfast.

"Why is there a bunch of cereal in front of our door?" asked Izuku

DOOR SLAM

"AH!" squeaked Melissa and Inko as they all turned to see a portal door slammed open in the middle of the entryway with Yushiro and Tomo coming through the doorway. "Yushiro and Tomo!"

"Do you really need to make a doorway in the middle of the apartment?" asked Inko.

"Apologies, Inko, now excuse me," said Yushiro as he moved past them and picked up one of the boxes of cereal, he examined the box even sniffed it before opening the box and eating some of the contents. "Yep, 100 percent pure authentic Leprechaun charms."

The others were silent for a moment. "Wait what?"

Eri looked down at the box and saw a small note, she couldn't read the characters but knew what language was on it, "Melissa what does this say, it's in English right?"

Melissa took the note, "It's in English but...." she cleared her throat. "Thank ye lass for the help, in wrangling that no good fake gold licker, here is a taste of the rainbow on us. From ye friendly LEP."

Yae looked over her shoulder making sure she read that right. "What? What is going on?"

Izuku turned to Yushiro. "Sensei?"

Yushiro pondered for a moment, "It seems they didn't come for violence for once, that's a good sign, but just in case I'm going to call that family in Ireland and keep track of them while they're here."

Izuku's eyes started to go wide a little, "Wait are you saying...there really?"

Yushiro looked at Izuku then at Tomo who was starting to look nervous. Yushiro turned to Izuku. "Don't worry about it I can handle this, just stay here all of you and enjoy some charms, but if see a blue four-leaf clover burn it."

Yae scratched her head, "Why-"

"Burn it." Emphasized Yushiro. "Now if you'll excuse me I must attend to this matter."

Tomo waved bye to them. "Bye, have fun and enjoy the snacks, we'll hopefully see you in a day or two." as the two went back into the door and shut it behind them.

"Bye." as Eri waved to them before returning to her new cereal leaving the others to just stand there.

"Wait so what was the about?" asked Inko.

Yae was the first one to speak, "Well I guess this means that they're real, right."

Melissa's brain quickly stopped itself from going any further, "I'm going to bed," she said quickly as she was about to leave.

"Uh, Melissa."

"I'm going to bed!" she shouted in frustration, "I am not going to spend the next week thinking about this like I did last time, I'm going to bed."

Yae shrugged, "Yeah I guess it's time for bed, later Izuku, Eri, Inko, later." as she followed Melissa out.

After saying goodbye Inko and Izuku started putting the cereal away, "So should I be worried about this?"

"I don't think so," said Izuku. "But the more I learn about this world the bigger it seems to become. Thought at least Eri had fun today." as he looked over on the couch at the girl who fell asleep holding a box of cereal.

Inko smiled, "Yeah I do believe your right." as went by and picked the little girl up and carefully took the box out of her hands. "Come on sweetie, time for bed."

"Don't take my lucky charms," muttered Eri still asleep in Inko's arms.

"Don't worry they'll be here in the morning." as Inko handed the box to Izuku, before taking her to her room.

As Izuku put the box away he wondered, "What else is ‘real’ out there?"

A/N: So you're all probably wondering where the hell I have been. We'll Life has been throwing me curve balls and I think I'm starting to get back on track and I should be uploading more chapters this week.
