We Moved to a New Workshop! (and House..😅)

Hey y'all! It's been an absolutely insane chaotic few weeks. We finished filming an entire project video (more on that below) and moved our entire house all in the span of about a week. Well sort of.

For about a year now we've been casually looking at getting a new house that would solve a few issues:

A. We work from home and we need more space to work. More space for projects!

B. We want said workspace to not encroach on actual home space, so we need more house. Apparently storing giant animatronics in the living room isn't "practical". Pffft!

C. We want to be closer to Jaimie's parents!

We also ideally wanted something in a neighborhood where we could still decorate for Halloween and have trick-or-treaters, and just be near stores and things like that. It took quite a while but despite the odds, we managed to find something and got the deal done in early July. :)

Our original plan was to move the house but leave the workshop at the old house so we didn't have any downtime. We're working on an important project for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and figured we'd just leave the shop there while we made it. Also we wanted to do some electrical work and get some stuff ready before moving the work stuff over to the new place.

Anyway long story short, we got here to the new place and realized it's so nice we just don't want to go back. 😅 So now we're frantically trying to move EVERYTHING to the new space so we can keep working and get the second project done before the deadline. We're insane sometimes but it'll all be worth it in the end, right?!

Will post some more updates as the workshop space develops. Let us know what parts you'd like to see! (We're planning on building a secret door between the studio and garage and need ideas.)

We also built a giant zombie LEGO animatronic and it's HORRIFYING and amazing.
