SNEAK PEAK: Jumping Spider Animatronic Makeover! πΈ

We transformed Spirit Halloween's Jumping Spider animatronic into this new glowing spider, inspired by one of the bosses from a video game coming out soon. We've done a lot of spiders but we always have one big issue: they're basically invisible at night! We wanted to try this glowing spider to see if we could create an outdoor Halloween prop that would look really cool at night and not just be hidden in the shadows.
Its about 24" long and glows in the dark using both LEDs inside and florescent glow paint that glows under a UV blacklight!

We only had this single concept art image to go off of so it was a fun process to try to interpret and break down the shapes and sizes of everything. We're very proud of what we created though and really hope you enjoy the video!
We're aiming to get it out this weekend.
