You know, the way we imagine and think about other guys in our heads is like our own private space. It's something only we have access to—a realm filled with secret desires and fantasies.

I reckon our feelings are always changing, you know? And I'm totally cool chatting about it with anyone who's open to it.

Once, I had this chat with a straight dude about his trip to Turkey and hitting up those Turkish baths. And man, he felt so darn manly there!

He went with his girlfriend on a short trip, she decided to travel with her girl pals to the countryside, while he hung out with her Turkish-American buddies (I'm not sure about the right terms here, help me out in the comments).

So, the vibe in this Turkish bath was hot and steamy, you know? But it was so different from locker rooms back in the States. He said, 'Being naked is okay, but the vibe was just so tense in America.' But in Turkey, he felt like a real man for the first time, no judgments. Sure, the guys teased him about being smooth or kinda shy, but he felt like he belonged to a group of MAN. Maybe that's how men used to feel exploring nature somehow.

He never had anything serious with another guy and says he doesn’t want to, but that experience meant a lot to him as a straight dude.

I really dig this story because it shows that our sexuality is way more than just one thing. We shouldn’t put ourselves in boxes—we should explore it and find folks to explore it with.
