Fake it 'til you make it!
Added 2024-07-29 19:19:21 +0000 UTCSometimes creative solutions are needed. While working on my recent LEGO Studios video, I needed a shot of Axle with his air boat from the theme. I never owned this set as a kid, but surely it would be easy to part together, right?
...wrong! Apparently, the green 2x4 slope on the front of it is very rare and I wasn't able to procure one from my local used LEGO store; that being said, I still needed the shot in the video! My solution?
I faked it! By setting it in the deep background and drawing the eye to Axle, I was banking on the audience not noticing the discrepancy. Let me know if I was successful or not!

Wow, a part I wouldn't have guessed to be uncommon in green! And not the first for green in my recent research either!
