Question about supporting other artists.
Added 2022-08-31 16:04:45 +0000 UTCHello, pessaol.Voces who support other artists, a question. Do any of them post comics regularly? How do they do it, post directly on the profile or in the form of a private message like I do in packs? As you know, I stopped posting the packs directly on the page (only as private messages), because there are sites that pirate patreon posts, leaving them free for anyone, and showing even the comments. How do artists you support post?
I want to start to post a totally spies comic, but i don't know how.

most post the file on patreon in a rar/pdf, 2 of you in a monthly patreon message, 1 links to mediafire, 1 does imgur and mega links pending on size, a few have gallery's on mega/google drive, 2 have an external site (1 which links with patreon for access).

2022-08-31 19:29:49 +0000 UTCso, in general, it's something similar to what I do with packs. another doubt is how I would do with the new supporters, who arrive months later and want to have access to the older pages. in this case, would it just leave the same google drive link forever and just keep updating the pages? I'm thinking about maybe dividing the story into seasons, I don't know. Every month post a number of pages on the G drive. But that would of course add more work for me, so maybe it would be restricted to tier 5 or higher patreons to compensate. Either that, or swap for the weekly comic poll. Any suggestion is welcome.

2022-08-31 17:39:52 +0000 UTCThe other artists I support tend to be a mix. Some post on Patreon directly, while others send messages. Another common method is using a DropBox, MEGA, or Google Drive folder which is constantly updated. Reasons for each method vary. Some of them post each page as it is done, while others wait until the end of the month or whatever milestone they decide on to release chunks of comic. It is really down to what you are most comfortable with.

2022-08-31 16:43:54 +0000 UTCAnother artist I follow does a few pages every week The post on patron is blurred out, covered up, then he posts it in discord or a site. You could upload a preview to this patron page. Then the full one to google drive like the packs. Question is, do you want to post it page by page, chunks at a time, or just wait until its done?

2022-08-31 16:07:14 +0000 UTCSome do a bit of both. Posting comics page per page on Patreon then offer the comic in its entirety when completed.
