You never actually own the number - you just get a certificate to use it. Then you can sell the certificate on the market (including eBay) if you wish

2023-12-10 21:46:46 +0000 UTCNumber plates are issued to new cars by the Govt. Anything that resembles a word or is a bit special is held back from general issue and sold. As UK plates are usually 7 characters, anything less is more valuable - A1 being the most, probably
