We’ve shambled back from the US, forgotten to upload any pics for last week’s show (mainly because we had so many and are still going through them) but have somehow pulled together some shite for this week’s late-running podcast. We start with the fantastic Cali-spec sun faded Boxster, followed by Jonny posing with the crab-sized croissant (with pound coin for scale) and, later, the sweet Prelude spotted in Monterey. Then we have a dickhead gull, a soggy arsed Toyota Solara cabrio, the disappointing Mazda CX-90 and highly generic Kia Seltos, and a rogue Smith and Sniff sticker spotted at Rennsport.

2023-10-09 16:40:02 +0000 UTCSo the VW can't be opened with a key - on that side of things. A little known fact is that someone at SsangYong has a child that's quite good at drawing. Yesterday in a large car park I saw what looked like a Range Rover Evoque without wheels. As I got closer, I saw that the big black car did have wheel but as they were also black and small in comparison to the size of the vehicle, you'd need to look carefully to find them. The nearer I got, the more wrong the overall 'styling' looked (decidedly wobbly and maybe a deliberate ploy to avoid being sued by JLR) I had to look at the back to learn that it's creator we SsangYong and I had to Google it to learn that it's a Turismo and apparently quite cheap. Hats off to SsangYong for at least giving the kid a chance.

Each intro was custom made (180 different themes!!) based around the Seinfeld opening monologue. Also once I got stuck in traffic behind Jerry at Monterey Car Week. He was driving a 959.
